Ford Shows 67 mpg Focus Econetic Prior to Amsterdam
For the American, you might just recently seen the 2012 Ford Focus which is able to reach 40 mile per gallon SFE trim. But now, the European will soon be able to see the new Ford Econetic which is designed with only efficiency in mind. Ford said that this Focus Econetic can even reach 80 mpg at the testing cycle in Europe, or about 67 mpg for U.S..
How could Ford reach that? Ford is able to make this super efficient car with their 1.6 liter Duratorq diesel engine which is able to bring 103 horsepower. They combine it with start-stop, Eco mode, smart regenerative charging, and a revised final drive ratio. Those stuffs will allow the engine to run as efficiently as possible. For comparison, the standard Ford Focus with 1.6 liter diesel can only reach 55 mpg for U.S..
To be more efficient, of course the design should also be aerodynamic. Ford complete it with active grille shutters at the front and a special low drag wheel cover. This Ford Focus Econetic will makes its official debut at the Amsterdam Motor Show next week as the first unit will hit the streets in early 2012.

Multifunctional 2011 Lincoln MKT AWD
The 2011 Lincoln MKT is actually based on the Ford Edge platform, only with a better looking, larger, and more capable. This car is not only able to be a crossover, but also a cargo or people hauler, a limousine, or to become a family car. I don’t know what is the problem with Lincoln, but I think they better named they product as Zephyr or anything than MKT, MKZ, or MK whatever.
Anyway, this 2011 Lincoln MKT is one vehicle which Lincoln needs if they want to survive. Although the car is based on Ford Edge, this car is bigger and wider with a longer wheelbase, combined with the limousine-like rear end of the car. Lincoln also adds some luxury feel to the car. You will see a 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 engine to produce 355 horsepower which is pretty good for the car’s weight of 4,857 pounds.
But what is actually the car? SUV, CUV. Or a wagon? By seeing the three rows seats, I think it is wise to call the car as a wagon. The second and third passengers row can be folded to give you a flat cargo floor in the backside for up to 75.9 cubic feet of volume. Even if the seats still on, you still have 17.9 cubic feet for cargo.

Excellent Handling on the New 2011 Suzuki Swift.
There is a new leader on the compact car segment. The Suzuki Swift will lead the range with an attractive mix of good looks. It comes with the Japanese quality combined with the driving dynamics which is inspired from the European. With the price starting at £ 9.190, this car will give you an excellent handling with 60 mpg fuel economy more than the 1.3 DDiS. I think this car will be able to attract some serious customers.
The Designing team from Suzuki is creating a stylish and functional interior aluminum trim highlights which were used to add some amount of sophistication. The fit and finish cutting combined with the high quality plastics will give you an overall sense of refinement and quality.
The length of the car is 3.85 m with 1.69 m wide and 1.51 m height. You will find a gasoline engine under its hood. 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS Review
Until today, there are a lot of stuffs on the internet about how attractive the 2011 Hyudai Sonata GLS is with its fluidic sculpture design language. The best thing is that with only $ 19,190, the basic GLS model will still looks upscale. Actually, the metallic silver-blue color in the picture above isn’t the best color for the Sonata, but see, the car still looks attractive. You can imagine when the car were painted on Phantom Black or Venetian Red.
Actually, Hyundai has done a good thing by making a relatively large car into a sleek and svelte package. The car is actually 189.8 inches long, which is longer than the Subaru Legacy and Toyota Camry. But you won’t notice it with naked eye. Hyundai also bring a more interior volume than most of their competitors.
The only bad side might be the rear passenger’s legroom with a bit of sore spot. There is only 34.6 inches. Volkswagen Golf might be a better option for this section. If you see the interior, you will see that Hyundai brought the exterior design to the interior. You can see it on the cabin, such as at the front doors, steering wheel, and dashboard.
